Surf photography in Corralejo & the East Coast
Where most surf trips start.
Corralejo, on the north-east tip of Fuerteventura, is the surf capital of the island and my home. From town, the east coast runs south past the white dunes of the Natural Park.
The coast
The east coast is the friendliest side of the north for learning. Flag Beach, at the start of the dunes, is where most surf schools take their students: whitewater for first lessons and small green waves for improvers. Turquoise water, white sand and the volcanoes behind make it one of the most photogenic places on the island to learn.
Who it’s for
Beginners, surf lessons and surf camps. It’s the best place for your first surf photos, and for video analysis: we see what your body does on the board and fix it in the next session.
Shooting here
At Flag Beach the waves break close to the sand, so I can shoot from the water’s edge and keep up with your whole lesson. Running a school or camp? Ask me about shooting your groups.
